The Sourcing Innovation Contributor
Definition.
A Contributor is a regular guest author who has their own guest column and biography page on the Sourcing Innovation blog.
Requirements.
Sourcing Innovation contributors commit to:
- authoring at least two original posts (the "Content") a month
- granting Sourcing Innovation "first run" and exclusivity privileges for a minimum of two weeks
- granting Sourcing Innovation (and its parent company) a perpetual royalty-free non-exclusive license to use the Content they provide on the Sourcing Innovation blog, Sourcing Innovation web-sites, and other electronic Sourcing Innovation Channels (provided that no fee is levied for access to the Content in the absence of an agreement to the contrary)
Benefits.
Sourcing Innovation contributors receive:
- their own column (set up as a blog category) which they can point to
- their own bio page, indexed on the sidebar
- acknowledgement of their affiliation(s) at the beginning of every blog post
- the right to participate in every blog and cross-blog series of their choosing
-
Commitment.
A new contributor must make a minimum commitment of three months (and six posts). After this time, the term will continue until one party decides to end the affiliation. Unless a formal arrangement exists to the contrary, the affiliation can be ended by either party without notice for any reason.
Exclusvity.
While exclusivity is not required, and while guest posts on other blogs are even encouraged by the doctor, Sourcing Innovation prefers that this column will be the only regular column of the contributor among the supply management blogs.
